Our goal is to increase empathy within out community. Statistically, one in five Americans suffer from a mental or physical disability, but only fifty percent of teens show compassion towards them. In order to increase those numbers, we started Project Sync. By following the phrase, "Walk a mile in their shoes," we believe that this experience will allow the other fifty percent to understand their circumstances and privileges.
